Early Life and Career
Joe Hart was born on 19 April 1987 in Shrewsbury, England. He began his football career at the age of 10 when he joined Shrewsbury Town's youth academy. Hart quickly rose through the ranks and made his first-team debut for Shrewsbury in 2005. In 2006, Hart was signed by Manchester City for £1.5 million.
Hart spent the next few years on loan at various clubs, including Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool, and Birmingham City. In 2010, Hart finally made his breakthrough at Manchester City and became the club's first-choice goalkeeper. Hart quickly established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and helped Manchester City win the Premier League title in 2012 and 2014.
International Career
Hart made his debut for the England national team in 2010 and quickly became the team's number one goalkeeper. Hart played in the 2012 European Championship and the 2014 World Cup. However, Hart's form dipped after the 2014 World Cup and he was eventually dropped from the national team in 2017.
Move to Burnley
After being dropped from the England national team, Hart joined Burnley on a free transfer in 2018. Hart played well for Burnley and helped the club avoid relegation from the Premier League. However, Hart's form dipped again in the 2019-20 season and he was eventually dropped from the Burnley team.
Move to Tottenham
In August 2020, Hart joined Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer. Hart played well for Tottenham and helped the club reach the final of the 2020-21 Carabao Cup. However, Hart was unable to dislodge Hugo Lloris as Tottenham's first-choice goalkeeper and left the club in the summer of 2021.
Move to Celtic
In August 2021, Hart joined Celtic on a free transfer. Hart quickly became Celtic's first-choice goalkeeper and helped the club win the Scottish Premiership title in 2022. Hart also played in the 2022 Scottish Cup Final, which Celtic lost to Rangers.
Personal Life
Joe Hart is married to Kimberly Crew and the couple have two children. Hart is known for his charitable work and is an ambassador for the Prince's Trust.
