My Riot: Agnostic Front's Grit, Guts & Glory - A Hardcore Journey of Redemption and Redemption
<meta name="keywords" content="Agnostic Front, My Riot, Hardcore Punk, Grit, Guts, Glory, Roger Miret, Vinnie Stigma, New York Hardcore, Redemption, Recovery, Memoir, Punk Rock">
Q: What inspired you to write "My Riot"?
Roger Miret: We felt like it was time to tell our story, the whole story. We've been through a lot, the good, the bad, and the ugly. We wanted to share our experiences with others, especially young people who might be struggling with addiction or other challenges.
Q: The book is very honest and unflinching in its portrayal of addiction. Was it difficult to relive those experiences?

Vinnie Stigma: It was definitely difficult at times, but we felt it was important to be honest about our struggles. We didn't want to sugarcoat anything. We wanted people to know that addiction is a serious disease, but it is possible to overcome it.
Q: What do you hope readers will take away from "My Riot"?
Roger Miret: We hope people will be inspired by our story. We hope they will see that no matter what challenges they face, they can overcome them. We also hope they will learn from our mistakes and avoid the pitfalls that we fell into.
Q: Agnostic Front has been a sober band for many years now. How has that impacted your music and your lives?
Vinnie Stigma: Being sober has changed our lives in so many positive ways. We're healthier, we're happier, and we're more productive. It's also made us better musicians. We're able to focus more on our music and put out better quality records.
Q: What advice would you give to young people who are struggling with addiction?
Roger Miret: Don't give up on yourself. No matter how bad things get, there is always hope. Reach out for help. Talk to a friend, a family member, a therapist, or anyone else who can support you. There is help available, and you don't have to do this alone.
